Dorothy J is a tug-style boat of 12m long by 4m wide, registered and certified by Transport Canada, meeting all relevant requirements for dive operations, including a diver's ladder, GPS, depth sounder, 2 VHF radios, O2 kit, complete first aid kit, radar, 16-person life raft and a toilet. It is covered to provide protection from the elements.

In January 2021, Neptune & Salacia Diving received its accreditation as a PADI Dive Boat, the first one in Canada! Dorothy J is a comfortable boat for 12 divers, whether for a short evening dive or a full day three-tank charter.
